We are releasing three Advent Devotionals over the coming weeks in hopes that you will slow down, focus in, and reflect on the wonder that is Christ's birth. The first devotional will be available on Wednesday December 6th.
Advent Reading Plan
We encourage you to look to God's Word this Advent season. To let the prophecies of Jesus' arrival, and the words of those actual events take root in your heart and mind. This Advent bible reading plan takes us from December 1 all the way through Christmas Eve on December 24. We have also included extra readings for the four Sundays of Advent. Can we encourage you to save this list of readings to your phone, or even print out (yes on paper) a copy to use throughout this month.

Opportunities for Generosity
At Surrey Alliance, our vision is to be a church for the city and during Christmas this is no exception. In partnership with City Dream Centre, our church helps those in need during the Christmas season by helping to contribute to and deliver Christmas Care Packs. This is a great opportunity to practice generosity in this season and to experience the presence of God as we help those in need. These packs vary in what is inside, but typically they will contain a multitude of non-perishable food, produce, and baked goods.
Our Christmas Giving trees show the practical opportunity we have to buy a $25 for Superstore which will be added into the Christmas Care packs as a supplement. Gifts cards are due at the church for December 17th and can be dropped off at the church office. The other way to get involved is to help with the distribution of these packs. We need people who are willing to pick up and then drop off the packs in Surrey.
