Surrey Alliance offers a wide variety of ministries and serving opportunities for adults.

  • The Young Adults group meets weekly for friendship, study, prayer and time to hang out together. 
  • Surrey Alliance partners with Nightshift Street Ministries- an interchurch ministry opportunity for people to help the poor, broken, and homeless in Surrey.
  • The Small Group Ministry at Surrey Alliance offers a variety of opportunities to meet together in a casual personal setting to explore the faith journey in Christ and to pray for one another. 
  • Every year Surrey Alliance is a host depot for Operation Christmas Child, the ministry of Samaritians Purse that provides less fortunate children around the world with shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts.
  • Freedom Session is an effective, Christ-centered 12 Step healing ministry that will lead you on a journey towards the freedom and healing you’ve always hoped was possible for you.
  • The Deacons Committee provides short term support and care for people who have pressing needs in their lives.
  • Pastoral Counselling is available by appointment through the church office.  Our pastoral staff is ready to provide spiritual nurture and suppport, pre-marital and marriage counselling, or referrals to trained counselling professionals. 
  • Surrey Alliance is home to one of  the largest Volunteer Income Tax Teams in the Lower Mainland serving low income people and people new to Canada who need help in figuring out how to get their income taxes completed. 
  • The Men’s Breakfast Group meets one Saturday morning each month for a hearty breakfast, fellowship and a short presentation of spiritual encouragement and challenge for men. 
  • Surrey Alliance Women’s Group meets throughout the year for special events – fashion show, ladies tea, guest speakers, and more.
  • The Friendship Group is for people 55+ that includes a variety of activities throughout the year.
  • Front Door Ministry includes the Common Grounds coffee bar, Guest services, Greeters and Ushers offers newcomers and regular attenders alike a warm welcome and assistance upon their arrival on Sunday mornings.
  • The Prayer Chain is a group of committed individuals who believe in the power of prayer and stand ready to pray for emergency prayer needs for people.
  • Living Room is a support group for people who struggle with mood disorders.  Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1 – 3 pm at the church.  For more info contact the church office.
  • Grounds and Maintenance Teams are made up of commited individuals who help keep the church’s grounds and gardens looking good throughout the year. 
  • Surrey Alliance is partner and host facility for Stepping Stones - a non-profit program committed to providing hope for parenting youth in the Surrey area.
