Church-in-Transition
Surrey Alliance Church welcome Dr. Gordon Smith to serve as interim preaching pastor this fall.
Surrey Alliance Church is currently in a pastoral leadership transition. This means that we are in the process of preparing ourselves to search for a new Lead Pastor. Although we miss having a Lead Pastor in place, we are continuing to move forward as a church and carry on effectively with the many ministries and activities that make up the life of the church.
The church staff – pastoral and support staff - continue to provide ongoing leadership and care for the church day to day.
The Transitional Leadership Team was elected by the congregation this past February to serve as the governing leadership body for the church during this season of Transition.
A Transitional Pastor who specializes in working with churches in transtion has been hired to assist the church staff and Transitional Leadership Team through this season of change.
We are confident that at the right time God will provide a new Lead Pastor who is a great fit for Surrey Alliance Church.
